As you search out the ancient tombs, more than 60 in all, spread out over an area of 3.8 sq km, you get a vivid sense of history and evolution. This unique collection of megalithic remains is the largest in Ireland.

There is much to explore as you wander through the fascinating series of tombs located by archaeologists. Step inside a restored cottage at the site, which houses a small exhibition, to get a fuller perspective on the remarkable discoveries.
